Women Build Day With Lowe’s and Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Tulare County and the Tulare County Fairgrounds will be “going to the birds” on Friday, May 18th for the 7th Annual Birdhouse Auction. The event starts at 6:30 and tickets are $75 each or a table of 8 is $600. To date the Birdhouse Auction has raised more than $220,000.00 for Habitat for Humanity programs here in Tulare County. Thumbs up to everyone who joined Habitat for Humanity of Tulare County for our one year Anniversary Celebration. The Habitat for Humanity offices and ReStore moved in March 2011 to 637 S. Lovers Lane, Visalia. Since then we have welcomed many new customers and donors to the ReStore. Thank you to “The Rock” Christian Family Church for providing lunch, to A&W for providing ice cream treats for our guests, To Mimi’s Café for muffins, to K-JUG for broadcasting live from our ReStore, to Embellish and Restore and Hen Picked for bringing great RePurpose ideas for our customers to see, and to “Tipper” from the Visalia Rawhide for joining us for the Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting.
