The “Rescued Homes” Program continues in Visalia

Fred Villamor was joined by friends, family, volunteers, and Habitat staff on April 9th to celebrate the dedication of the 5th “Rescued Home” in Visalia. Fred has been working with staff and volunteers, repairing his new home for several months.  He is now purchasing his home with a no-interest, no-profit Habitat loan.  Pastor Harry Wood and John Walker dedicated and blessed the home with the support of the guests.  The “Rescued homes” program will continue in Visalia with the purchase of 4 more foreclosed homes in 2010.
