Habitat for Humanity of Tulare County

Home Builders Blitz 2008

In partnership with the Home Builders Association of Tulare/Kings County, Habitat for Humanity built a house in less than one week.  Habitat affiliates across the U.S. and Canada worked with thousands of professional volunteers to build more than 500 houses during this week.

More than 50 local trades partners donated time and materials to help a hard working, very low-income family in Tulare County have a decent, affordable place to live. The event started on May 31 and the dedication will be on June 7, 2008 at 11:30 am.

From the very begining the crews were on task and ahead of shedule.

It's All Their Fault!!!

Staff from Centex homes volunteered time to work with the construction crews and supervise the event.  The staff also worked with the Home Builders Association of Tulare/Kings County to secure the donations.

By the end of day one the roof was on and the crews had moved inside.

Excellent!!!

Thank you Sponsors 2008
